Comedy Dexter

Anyone care to write little tidbits that portray Dexter or other show characters in comedic situations? Here is one from me... Comedic dexter Dexter and Miguel, older, slightly hunch backed, grey haired and spectacles... (Dexter"I didn't want to believe Miguels forgetfullness was alzheimers, but, at the bowling alley last week, it was obvious he didn't know where he was...." (Miguel) Rolls ball down wrong lane and when bowlers from that lane come up Miguel swears at them..."Dexter, now you wear a disguise! How dare you!" (Miguels teeth slip and he straightens them in his mouth)"I'll kill you! I'll kill you all! Wait!! I already did! I already killed you all!" (Dexter) Shaking his head and pushing dark framed glasses back up his nose towards his eyes, Dexter goes over and using both hands grabs Migeul's left arm at the elbow pulling him in the direction of the bowling alley exit. He whispers in harsh tones, "Must I always have to cover up your messes??" |

I actually wrote a screen play for the pilot episode of a Doakes spin-off sitcom called, "Doakes with Batista" where Doakes, after narrowly escaping the explosion at the cabin with his life, decides to change his life and move back to his home town of Atlanta to start a family and pursue his dream of being a stand-up comedian. In the pilot episode, Doakes would just be settling into his new life, when Batista moves in next door and wants to be his best friend. This would set up Batista as the wacky neighbor/ side-kick.I wasn't serious writing it. It's not really suppose to be funny, but more of a parody of other sitcoms. It's got the cliches: really attractive wife, stubborn and dumb husband, young son whose a total brainiac, teenage daughter going through the difficulties of high school, wacky annoying neighbor who always just walks into the house at anytime, their house has a staircase leading upstairs in every room, there is a door to the outside in every room so no matter where the actors are talking, somebody can walk in or out to help move the plot along, etc. There are a bunch of other sitcom conventions I tried to make fun of in the thing (unnecessary laugh track), but this list was getting long. Anyway, maybe I'll post it here later. |

I wrote a spoof about a Dexter doll with the character Chucky in mind. It's called, "Dexter Doll Spoof". What a stretch! It's posted on the fan fiction web site with a a link here on the fan fiction page. It's about three pages long or so.

Post it, I will read it@ |

I think it would be fun to work from current episodes too and place take offs on scenes most recently viewed. Plus, other spoof writings.

Where do Retired Serial Killer Go?Dexter hobbles through the back door of his Coconut Grove apartment building. His back holds the screen door and one hand grips two bags of groceries while a shaking liver spotted hand works to insert the key into the door handle lock. (Dexter)Miguel! (he shouts)Open the door! Come on! The damn door is locked again! Dex drops the bags of groceries and steadies his glasses on his nose and his hand by the wrist, thus allowing him to finally get the key in the lock and turn it. His black eyes survey the room for Miguel's whereabouts. Why had he ever made him a friend!? There was no getting rid of him once he made that first kill with him so many years ago. God knows he had tried! Leaving the groceries on the kitchen counter Dex hesitates and then rushes his arthritic legs towards the bedroom airconditioner. Miguel is lying on the floor with a syringe stuck straight up in Miguels thigh. Miguel is unconscience. (Dexter) Miguel! Wake up! -Damn dimensia!- Miguel you stuck yourself with my sodium penathol, again, instead of your diabetes shot! Asshole! Miguel moans and pees himself. |

12. Tidy Whitey's

I am writing to say what an excellent product you have! I've used it all of my married life, as my Mom always told me it was the best. Now that I am in my fifties I find it even better! In fact, about a month ago, I spilled some red wine on my new white blouse. My inconsiderate and uncaring husband started to belittle me about how clumsy I was, and generally started becoming a pain in the neck. One thing led to another and somehow I ended up with his blood on my new white blouse! I grabbed my bottle of Tide with bleach alternative! to my surprise and satisfaction, all of the stains came out! In fact, the stains came out so well the detectives who came by yesterday told me that the DNA tests on my blouse were negative and then my attorney called and said that I was no longer considered a suspect in the disappearance of my husband. What a relief! Going through menopause is bad enough without being a murder suspect! I thank you, once again, for having a great product. Well, gotta go, have to write to the Hefty bag people. |

The near explosion made Doakes realize his staying in the closet was no longer a priority to him and he confesses to Batista that he is in love with him? Batista lisp back to Daokes "I fffeel the same aaaabout you!" They move to Vegas and join a gay chorus troop. |
