I am interested in film, theatre, philosophy,psychology,criminal justice,the constitution and history. Is there anything new for writer's to write? as a writer, I seem to encounter that alot, like "is this mine or borrowed?" or is it all just the same human material in altered scenarios with the hope that noone will remember who's idea's are being mutated. sometimes mutilated? I do enjoy films, Johnny Depp in Sweeny Todd (love Tim Burton) and Helena Bonham Carter jumps to mind, many more I am at the time to tired to name. (I might compile a list of my film pics if anyone cares-such as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof", "Some Like It Hot", "All About Eve","Candy",The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and more recently "Silence of The Lambs " of course. I also obviously enjoy Dexter, an interesting original work, with witty studio writers giving us a reason to even own a TV in 2008. The actors are very talented and Showtime has the 3 shows I enjoy. I admit to repeats of Charmed and The Ex Files. I am not a theatre snob, "Avenue Q" was cute.I guess good work is still out there, it is just harder to find with all the "reality TV" crap clogging up the pipes, having to rake through, and it usually stinks.-he he.
