I don't think Lundy told Dexter.There are 2 possibilites of HOW Dex found Lila so quickly as I see it.... 1. Deb told Dexter, she was the one who put out the BOLO for Lila. 2. If Lundy did find out about Lila he has no reason to tell Dexter, but he would tell Deb since he knew she was looking for Lila. I'm guessing on the first one though...... Although what remains a mystery I believe is HOW Dexter found Lila in Paris. It's a big city and I don't think she was listed. I think the big problem with the season 2 finale is the timeline. No one knows how much time had come to pass before Dexter found Lila and also HOW he found her. From what I have been reading around the net, this seems to be the 2nd biggest bug.... The first is Doakes' demise. Personally mine is, as everyone knows... The unknowning if Lundy will return. |

The way I saw it, was that there was a time difference. Meaning that I am not sure just how much time went between Lila leaving and Dexter showing up.It seemed to me that Lila was all set up in Paris, and had her apartment set up and had established some sort of life there. So it could have been a few weeks or months between the time when, 'Lila has left the building', until Dexter came a knocken. I am not sure if the Post card was hand delivered by Dexter or was it mailed and he shows up on the same day. So if it went through the mails system, (I dont really believe this one either)... I think Lundy was already gone even though he had not left town if you know what I mean. I think he was already on the next case. He did not contact Dexter. If asked he would have said, Dexter Who?? He was already gone. But I do believe he will be thinking about Doakes and then of course Dexter later. I do think that will be a part of season 3. I just am not sure how big of a part. I am very sure Deb had a lot to do with locating Lila, Deb hates that skank. I am sure she found her, and told Dex. But IF Lila does show up. She may put 2 + 2 together and realize Dexter may be involved some how. Deb may figure it out if this happens. or not!! |

Just something I've been thinking about since we've been talking about the ending, and how Dex got to Parks so fast, etc. "Hi Dexgal. I dont think Lundy did feed him anything. I think Lundy was already working on the next case. His mind was in Oregon, even before his body got on the Air Plane. So if anything Deb was hot on Lila's trail and fed it all to Dex. Dexter then went on his walk about and went to Paris. The only thing that worries me is that IF Lila's body is ever found, then Deb may put it all together and link Dex to that info, and Lilas death. |
