dexter is a good series but it could be a GREAT series with a couple of cast replacements, including ms. carpenter.

can tell by the awards that the individual actors have received-just confirms the talents that each actor brings to the creative Dexter series!! Just wish that when the various awards shows, i.e., the Emmys, SAG, and Golden Globe would be more open-minded when it comes to Dexter. Feel that the premise of Dexter, the "serial killer" series, keeps the distribution of deserving accolades from the Dexter series. Each individual actor, creators, writers, directors give their all (200%) or should I say their creative bloody perspiration to make Dexter the best series Showtime has had. Always look forward to September. To satisfy my Dexter craving-just watch the reruns of Season 3. Also purchased Seasons 1 and 2. Ciao till next time!!! margovidas

Here is a theory that my friend has... what do you think? Since they don't show Harry's funeral, is it possible that Harry assumed the name Joe Driscoll to cover up the fact that he was really Dexter's biological father. She thinks that Harry never actually commited suicide and when Joe died it was actually Harry, that is why he had the card that Dexter had made. I checked the credits to see who played Joe Driscoll in that episode and everyone is listed but him? SI... who played Joe Driscoll on the show? I can't find that info anywhere. Can you?

Does anyone know if Jennifer Carpenter is in the recent Nasonex prescription drug allergy spray med commercial? My husband and I have a debate whether that's her or not... Thanks!

I stumbled by here and it is so nice to read these and realize that I am not the only one who thinks Hall is hot. He's so sexy that I wonder it's physically painful for him. I want to meet him. Michael...not Dexter, haha!

Anyone else catch Michael C. Hall on last nite's TMZ? Out for a bit of a shop...for shoes...ON HIS OWN?!?!? Where is Jen?
He did catch a call and wasn't very "sharing" with the papps, maybe Jen was giving him long distance advice on what color matches his eyes? Or maybe to remind him to choose shoes without tread design....you never know.... ;-)

Is Mr. Hall known to be hetro or homo (sexual) ? I don't suppose it matters in a strictly moral sense, but curiosity is a strong thing. On the one hand lots of people - well practically everyone I meet - thinks I'm gay but oddly enough I'm not. I think it would be cool if Mr. Hall is straight, but lots of statistics - just going by the numbers - I'd suspect maybe he's not. I'm not going to ask the guy (duh) but part of the price you pay for getting famous is having people out there that you don't even know wondering things about you personal life - that's just the way it goes.
So what's the scoop? Aaron

Dexter is one of the most unique shows in our history. Michael portrays Dexter like no one else could. A long time fan of Six Feet Under, he took my family with him when the show ended and he came into his own, with Dexter. Michael is just plain awesome as Dexter and he was my favorite character, David, in Six Feet Under. His acting is impeccable and so believeable. We all adore him here in the Midwest.

I think when he goes on tv/late-night/whatever he is most definately in character.
I also believe he slips a little sometimes, and you get a glimpse of the performer himself - a person like you or me that happens to be incredibly good at something and from which he has become the definition of "famous". I'd like to know if anyone has already aggregated this footage. I'm into analyzing people. It's a hobby of mine. Anyone else think of other actors that seem to be in character under the interview circumstance? I think Robbin Williams is one that you might *think* that about, but after consideration and observing, I think he's pretty much always a nutt :) I'm not hip to the exact terminology - "method" - "character" - acting.... but I know there is a difference between someone like Johnny Depp, who becomes completely different characters and Alec Baldwin, who has a range, but a consistent presentation, and then Christopher Walken who is simple Christopher Walken in every role, and all three of them are totally awesome! Where does MCH fit in though?
