OK - so right now it looks like Christine is the shooter. But why? For a good story? If so then why kill Lundy? So that that it would be pinned on Trinity? Not sure if she's that crafty.

I have a feeling that Quinn is behind this somehow. He convinces her to pull the trigger. Tells her to just wound his partner Deb, but to kill Lundy and also to rob him so that Miami Metro is torn between Trinity and the Vacation Murders.

Masouka bringing up Lila to Quinn makes me think that Quinn is going to get close to discovering Dex. I'm thinking that dear old Trinity is going to kill Quinn for Dexter, and that's going to be the shocking ending to Season 4. Lila was either brought up to emphasize how much Quinn is like Doakes, or Quinn is going to try to track down Lila and realize that she has disappeared.

Either way I think Quinn has a lot more to him than we are seeing.

I liked this episode. What else can I say?

The whole "Elliot-Rita" love connection was not only predicted by some on this wiki months ago, but also is really dumb - in my opinion at least. The whole episode when they're together I see it coming and makes me roll my eyes and groan. I hope Rita doesn't "go all the way" with Elliot. If that happened, I don't know whether or not I'd care if Dexter killed Elliot then. You don't mess with another man's wife. It's against the rules.

Is Dexter ever going to bring up Rita's first marriage to her?

Speaking of people on the wiki predicting things, it looks like Trinity's back-story played out exactly like a lot of people guess it would. His sister died somehow, so his mother committed suicide, and then is dad is murdered. I suppose the only thing we don't know is if Trinity did in fact kill his own father or if perhaps somebody else did.

I'm glad that Dexter's killing of an innocent person last week wasn't that big of a deal this week. I was afraid he'd become mopey and emotional ala season two again.

Are we all pretty much thinking that it was Christine Hill, the spunky, go-get-em reporter who shot Deb and Lundy?

I also liked Dexter's confusing people with complicated weather terminology to get them to let him go to Tampa. I miss the smooth manipulative Dexter. Sometimes lately he just gets irritated and snaps at people, especially at Quinn.

Angel and La Guerta almost had a real sex scene. I think I'm glad we didn't see it. I don't need to see Angel that way.

So what does it mean that Arthur has become a changed man? Is he going to quit with all his murderous goings-ons?

We've only got four episodes left. We're in the third act of the season - the climax. This will be good, I am sure.

I can't believe how she is acting. She actually said "No doesn't work in a relationship" meaning saying no to her doesn't work. She constantly berates him. She doesn't allow him any imput in how the kids are raised, but she expects him to pay for them. The way she treated him at the roast was so wrong. She should have becked him up instead of giving him dirty looks. BTW..Rita should be telling Astor to stop being rudeto Dexter. Not yell at Dexter. He works to bring home money, stays up with the baby all night while she sleeps, and she still doesn't think he is involved enough? What does she want? His blood? He hates living in the suburbs, and she doesn't care. All she cares about is herself and her kids. Im tired of it. She needs to stop forcing people to do what she wants, and she needs to stop taking advantage of a man who just wants to please her. No wonder her last husband beat her. He probably couldn't take her saying"what were you thinking?". It translates to "why am I not getting my way?"

I think Dexter's adoptive father will turn out to be his biological father. After all, adoptive father and Dexter's mom were intimate ... Debra may need medical help only a blood relative can provide -- and Dexter's the one to help.

Referring to her comment on privacy on there wedding day. I agree with her, but because I'm a fan to both Michael and Jennifer, knowing a little about them makes me happy to know that, yes, they are normal people, yes they want their privacy. But when your in the public eye, we want to know alot about you, so we can fill up our fantasys of what we would like our life to be. I know it's annoying, but we just like a peek into your world, to satisfy our curiousity. Just so we can feel good sometimes. That's all.

ok so the Sgt. & Lt. just break it off to remain in homocide ,,,,I'm glad they both remain but weak plot on relationship starting & ending in a shift, Quinn questions Dexter about why he kept his apartment? What is he so desperate to get one up on Dexter the guy that busted Quinn taking cash......Quinn asking Dexter what he's hiding or what kind of guy keeps his apartment why piss off the guy that holds dirt on you.....?? I can understand the plot to show social / parental lacking skills of Dexter's as a dad during his attempt to tell a scary story but was it that inappropriate or scary that the kids were so scared that the othe dad had to finish up the story? Are we sure he killed an innocent guy? Was it a quick out of charcter move by Dexter to kill he innocent or is he photographer lady player into some plastic....sloppy quick work is not Dexter's style? Trinity is emotional over a deer but is showing some agiatated behavior with and around Dexter/Kyle?....Harry's first rule supportd by all the other rules don't get caught is Trinity thnking that too and suspects Dexte/Kyle is a treat? I agree with MamiYamaguchi I am not convinced Trinty shot Deb & Lundy also I actually think dokes is still alive.....i can buy into Dexter learning the blending in skills from Trinity to teach him how to fit in but Trinity is unpredictable.....do we know or Dexter can be in for a surprise????

I get the feeling that TK is re-enacting something that happened to him, but what? Was his sister murdered in a bathtub? And then his mother subsequently committed suicide by jumping? And then his father provoked him regarding his sexuality until he finally beat the old man to death?

I really hope we find out at some point.

Maybe they need to go back in police records even further to see if other incidents took place at those locations.

I'm interested in what others think about this.

I watched the episode twice, I read the recap as well...I clearly remember Lundy's face when he realized someone was about to shoot...his eyes were straight forward, there is no way someone small like Masouka did the shooting, his eyes would have been shifted downward...to have us believe or assume an idiot like Christine would do this is insulting. She is devious in an obvious way but not in the manner of killing anyone. Possibly the writers didn't decide who they wanted to end up as the killer so they are giving false info. If the shooter was only 5 ft away, as indicated when Masouka and Deb were in the zone, Deb would have realized someone was behind her and Lundy would have reacted immediately. I just don't know...I love this show, I can't wait to watch next episode, each time one ends and I think we are all in for quite the ride with the remaining 4. I am going to watch the episode where Lundy gets shot again, I want to see if I remembered his eyes and look correctly. Does anyone agree with me?

Oh, and I agree, I hope Quinn isn't another repeat. That would be boring no matter the kill.
