So in the series she's slept with like, 5 guys in 3 seasons? And that makes her a "ho"???

At least she didn't attempt to pick up a hooker, unlike Angel.

At least in each of the cases she was actually looking for someone to love her and look after her, not just casual sex (again, unlike Angel).

Every guy she's been with - except possibly Gabe, the gym guy, because she never really gave him a chance - she's jumped in head-over-heels emotional thinking he's the one.

As for Lundy, it was totally understandable she went for him. Lots of women go for father figures. And when you consider that Deb had little love from her own father and was still traumatised about nearly being killed by a serial killer, what could be more attractive than a guy who can look after her and protect her from serial killers?

Plus - Keith Carradine is hot for his age. I'd do him. "

"Deb finding out is a story that the writers will have to develop sooner or later. She's simply too good of a investigator to not have the pieces start to fall into place. In the first season, she was responsible for a lot of the breaks in the ice truck killer case. She also nailed the profile of Dexter when Rudy dragged one of his kills back up. In the second season, she identified the pattern in the bodies, and she found the info that led them to identify for sure that the butcher worked in the police station. Her ignorance could be explained by her dependence on him in the first two seasons, but as she comes into her own, as seemed to be happening at the end of the 2nd season, It'll be harder for her to not see that something isn't right with Dexter.

She might help LaGuerta try to clear Doakes's name. Doakes was like a mentor to her for most of season 1, and she and LaGuerta bonded somewhat at the end of the second season. Maybe she'll start to remember what happened at the end of season 1 while she was on the table sedated? Could be an interesting storyline.....

Deb's probably the only person that wouldn't immediately turn him in. She's also the only one that could convince Dexter to give it up. She's the one that he seems to have the most connection to. He killed his own brother so she would be safe. She's the one that got him to start to see that Lila was bad news. (The scene where she meets Lila and then bitches him out is one of the best scenes in the show) It was her faith in him that convinced him to not turn himself in. A good series finale story might be him being in danger of being caught again, and her knowing, but not letting him know she knows. She might then cover his tracks to save him and then reveal to him that she knows, and that she had saved him. That might be enough to convince him to change, knowing that continuing would put her at risk as an accomplice."
