Dexter's backstory: He was found by Harry Morgan at a crime scene involving the death of Dexter's birth mother. He was soon adopted by Harry Morgan, as Dexter grew older he started developing this uncontrollable urge to kill. As soon as his Harry found out he taught Dexter a code to live by helping him control his urges.
