Okay, I'm sure we've all thought of this throughout watching every episode. But that was last season.
This season we have reason to doubt it. Why? Let's go back. Season 1: We pretty much expected it. We were already picturing how it would go down and how long it would take. But after seeing how careful, clever, and professional Dexter was, we had second thoughts. Season 2: We finally saw a hole in Dexter's routine. We began seeing a different, more human side of Dexter. We were almost sure that the revelation of his flaws would certainly lead to his demise. But again, he prevailed, and eliminated his biggest threats with it. So what is left I ask? Suspicion - gone. Evidence - taken care of. Routine - Still professionally maintained. I predict this season will most likely not be about the possibility of his fall, but about whether or not he wants to continue being a serial killer for the rest of his life. |

Through season two, we found Dexter becoming more "human," rather than faking it all the time. With his vow to honor Doakes' sacrifice by enjoying his freedom, how do you think his emotions will grow in season 3?

So from this point in this thread try to avoid too many spoilers. Add a big sign saying "Spoilers below read at own risk" if necessary. I've added in the subject that there are spoilers here so anyone who reads this reads them at their own risk, so whining PLEASE!
So some of us here have seen how season 2 ended due to leakage and some have said the ending didn't finish as we had hoped for and that has sort of killed the spirit here on the predictions board. I'm hoping that you guys will help out here, I think we need to seriously help the writers for next year if even there is a slight possibility that they troll the threads here, that they can see what we in majority want happening in season 3 and hopefully they might get a better idea out of our ideas or a mix of our ideas. The writers did a great job this year in the first 9 episodes, but the toning down that started happening already in last week's episode (episode 10) only left me with a bad feeling (Yes I am one of them that roots for Deb/Lundy together as a couple if you haven't figured that out from my other posts on other threads!). I'm hoping to see to see what you guys would like to see next year. What could come in play? What changes would you like to see in: Dexter? Debra? Lundy? (He will be back) LaGuerta? Masuka? The capt.? Angel? Rita and the kids? Will there be a new killer? A new suspect? A new fear? Let's have some fun with this if we have the time. Some are so disappointed lately that the boards have gotten quiet. Shame, it has been fun so far...
