| EPISODE 3.5: "Turning Biminese"
 | Episode summary: | While Dexter struggles with how to handle Rita’s desire for them to move in together before they get married, Miguel tells Dexter about a husband who has gotten away with killing two of his wives for financial gain. For Dexter, this seems like the perfect candidate to satisfy his dark urge and his need, like every man under relationship pressures, to get away. Dexter tracks the murderer to Bimini. While on the hunt, Rita has a medical emergency and he is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Debra works with Anton, her confidential informant to track down one of Freebo’s criminal confidants. But Debra finds herself oddly (and disgustingly) attracted to Anton. | | Original air date: | October 26, 2008 | | Written by: | Tim Schlattmann | | Directed by: | Marcos Siega | | Guest star(s): |

Victim(s): Name unknown
Assigned officer(s):Joseph Quinn and Vince Masuka
Crime scene: A residential neighborhood. Victim lies face-down on the grass in the front yard. She is wearing a yellow dress. A large patch of skin has been excised (post-mortem) on the nape of her neck. The neighbor called it in.
Suspect(s):None named
Clue(s): Similar M.O. to recent murders that Homicide is investigating
Blood evidence suggests...The missing skin appears to have been the site of a tattoo, and does not match the same pattern as previous victims. Also, cotton fibers found in the victim's nose suggest she was was suffocated, and not strangled like the others.
