Actor bio: Born William James Remar and raised in nearby town of Newton, he has wanted to act since the age of seven. At 15, he dropped out of high school to tour with his rock band, but eventually returned to get his degree. Moving to New York, he became involved in numerous stage productions and now enjoys a varied career as a veteran character actor. Mr. Remar was recently nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor in "Dexter".
