Lots of shows have the top 100 moments right, well I'd though it'd be cool to create a top 10 for Dexter. So tell me want your favorite dexter moments are. To be honest I can't decide i have too many. from him killing his brother to killing his mothers killer to the throw down with doakes in season 2 and him killing lila was just inevetible.

good idea, but do you mean for the whole show, or just the character Dexter? I really liked his whole "the mask is slipping" speech at the NA meeting, but, yeah, killing his brother and Lila's death definitely should also be on the list. If it's all characters, maybe when Deb kisses Lundy should be on the list, and when the lt. breaks down when Masuka can't id a 'smell' from her fiance's shirt.

Hmmm... Deb ruled in episodes 11 and 12 imo, but Deb only got to be strong again because she was influenced by someone stronger than her and just happened to be Lundy, oh darn here's another die-hard Keith fan, yes we travel in packs.

My fave scenes from season 2 excluding everything deb/lundy were:

Dexter trying to tell Rita what was wrong with her car
Dexter and Deb scene where he imagines telling her that he's the BHB
Uh, everytime I try thinking about Dexter I keep seeing Lundy... Sorry, better leave this thread so the creator of it doesn't blame me too for making everything about Deb/Lundy.

10. Paul confronting Dexter in the doorway while he’s babysitting. “Is that all?”
9. Deb and Lundy on the dock… my only favorite scene of the two of them.
8. Matsuka and Dex discussing body disposal… “woodchipper… meat pies”
7. Dexter confessing to his shrink/target. “I kill people… uhhh, that’s feels good to say.”
6. The “Slow-Ride” funk-out at Dex’s bio-dad’s home. “ You gotta love a purist.”
5. Lila discovering Doakes locked in the cage in the cabin … “I’m his soul-mate.”
4. Rudy and Deb on the boat. “Is this helping? Cause I could continue…”
3. Dexter having to “explain” the box-o-slides to Lundy… “they’re trophies.”
2. Dexter imaging all of Deb’s reactions to his confession – the Heimlich, ha!
1. Dexter and Doakes confrontation in the lab…“for one simple reason… I own you.”

This is just off the top of my head, there are so many I left out. Everything out of Matsuka’s mouth is a gem. “Yeah, but she could ride it twice.”

Heh this is too good. I enjoyed the head butt he gave Doakes in the office and then ran out so that Doakes could mess up his career and allow Dex to continue his "clean up job". In reality, our government has many Dexter's out there today, doing the very same things that Dex does in the show, so how real or fake is this show ? Really? Just a rehtorical question.

these are some of my favorite moments

* dex with brian in a table. when brian

is telling dexter their story. he look so helpless for the first time..

* the "mask is slipping" speech in the NA program.

* when paul and dex meet each other "i cant think of a clever thing to say"

* when dex watching the blood of rudy drain. looks like he's going to cry..

* dex trying to figure out what would be the reaction of deb when he told her his secret. (that was hilarious!)

*dex sneaked in rita's room early in the morning and they got caught by the kids.

I'm not sure about all of my top ten, but one that I really like is when he is thinking about how great it would be if he was all alone in the world. How great it would be not to have to hide anymore.

Oh, and the first episode, first kill when Dexter tells his victim to open his eyes or he will cut off his eyelids. That was funny.


I like it on "the dark defender" when dexter is getting the armadillo out of rita's house, and dexter says to ritas mum, "Its like an invasion!" just the look on his face is funny

i'm not so sure i have ten. but i do have a few. my favorite is when he's having the internal monologue in his head about the "mother in law" her name shall not be spoken. well anyways that part always always cracks me up.

then i oh so very much enjoyed the one in the first season when he handed doakes his own tuckuss...that felt good and it wasn't even me doing it.

my third favorite was his dream of being a super hero and saving his mom...that was severely cute...and unexpected, which showed he was human...twisted as hell, but still human.

every single time he threatened that freaky little bleached english chica. man i hated her...

oh...and yes, when he head butted doakes and tricked him into attacking him and therefore removing himself as a problem in dexters life...brought back a memory of my childhood i had forgotten (wipes away tear). good times...good times....
