I remember Doakes saying that and I am sure we will some of that in Season 3. Just what was Harry all about.
We have seen that Dexter is questioning Harry, and now maybe we will see what Harry was. I think Harry must have been sort of a whack job, cuz why would anyone do what he did for Dexter. Meaning if my son was doing what Dex was doing you can bet I would be sending him to professional help first. Then if that did not work, maybe do a Harry Code. (Now that I know about the Harry Code).
I am sure there is more to Harry and the Captain than we know now. I think the captain is hiding something in a closet and I dont mean womens clothing either. There may be a skeleton or two in there. I hope season 3 shows this. so we know all about the Captain and Harry.
Deb will be the biggest looser though, no matter what happens. She idolized Harry and Dexter. If she finds out they are not kosher, then she maybe the next BHB."

"I have always thought, wondered wanted Harry to be Dex's dad after they showed he knew Dex's mom. I thought it was almost cold when Harry picked up Dex, pulling the boys apart with Dex calling for Brian, all he had left and not taking both boys together, at least from the scene anyway. Maybe he was thinking Dex was young enough not to remember and Brian would help him always remember because he was old enough to remember it all. I don't know. And I wonder where Brian went for all those years. He resented the fact that Dex had a family. He was doing all these things to get Dex to remember, but he was cutting all ties to any family except him. I feel sure he murdered Joe. Deb was all that remained. Had Harry still been alive he would have killed him too, or tried to.

The guy Dex killed in season two was one of the three surviving murders of his mom and the one that saw Harry meet her in the park. They hinted in one of the flash backs that Harry and Laura were romantically involved. Laura may have told Harry the boys real father in conversation, and also if Harry had feelings for her and had promised to protect her, he was trying to protect what was left of her, or part of it anyhow.
