Angel's love life

Is it just me, or does anyone else want to see Angel find someone? He's such a sweetheart. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

angel has been getting very short shrift this season, so it was cool to see him reentering the main story traffic by hooking up with our fav "whoreable sponsor" (who said that! tee hee)

you've see those shots of episode twelve where he's getting an award (presumably for killing doakes, who's been set up to take the fall as the butcher)

as hero of the hour, maybe he'll be in the limelight and catch a sweetie. tho' i doubt it'd be laguerta, under the circumstances. imagine having to continue to work with someone who killed your expartner, former lover, current bff...is laguerta going to carry on trying to clear doakes name next season?

You know, I assumed that he had because of the way she took his arm and checked outside to see if anyone was looking before she closed the door. I was surprised when he said that no one had used him for good or bad since his wife left him. The implication was definitely that he got it on with Mrs. Sota. So what was all that anyway?

I think that Mrs. Sota checked to see if anyone was looking because she was still, on some level, protecting her husband's reputation, looking out for some of his possible associates, etc. I think Angel would've picked up on that, no matter if other signals were present, and treated her kindly but not engaged in a sexual act at that point. He was really focused on looking for answers to the murders.

I so agree. I got a chance to interview him recently (I think you can read part of his interview at channelguidemag.com - click on the October issue) and asked him about that. He said that he had a woman come up to him in a grocery store and tell him to give her his wife's number so she could call the woman and talk some sense into her. Obviously, delightfully confused. I posted some of his comments on my own blog (channelguidemagblog.com) if you want to read them.
And we can only hope...Zayas was very tight with information and I felt like, with Dexter I want to be surprised, so I did not press him.
