You must be kidding, did you see the latest episode...she was unbelievable. She may be no big chest hottie but she went way over good in this latest episode..

I agree with you. What show are these other people watching? I love Jennifer Carpenter to play Dexter's sister. She's great. I can't see any body else playing her character. I think they should watch Dexter from the beginning. If they still feel the same way, then, to bad. The show is great with every character that started Dexter. And by the way the acting is superb!!!!! Getti up!

I'd say in the first two seasons, I would have agreed. But she's growing on me, and I have to say that moment in last weeks episode with Dexter in the parking lot, really got to me. (When she said she cant fix anything.)I think she's actually a really great actress....but its taken time for me to even come close to thinking that. Do you find this valuable? |

The people cast in Dexter, except for Dexter and a couple of other well knowns are surrounded by relatively unknowns which makes this series all good. You can't get all stars to run a show, you won't believe it. This way, some newbies and great oldies mix makes this show one of the best ones out there bar none. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. I suspect your comments are intended to rouse us. Good job. She's great. period. Tell me who you want there otherwise? Physical attributes have no place here, honestly. The bimbo Quin's banging is about the only "light" acting I've seen, and that's no biggie really. Of course, she does have a few attributes...

Let's just say that Deb is polarizing as a character. Either you love her or hate her.I did not care for her at all in Season 1 but thought she really picked up their game acting across from Keith Carradine in season 2. Now I really like her as a character. Deb is flawed and I think it's easy to get down on Jennifer Carpenter for accurately portraying those flaws. Do you find this valuable? |

What's the hell is wrong with you people. Jennifer Carpenter is a smart and gifted actor. She has great punch lines. Like the unforgetable "does your dick dance" did you see that one or were you watching some other show. Stop it already, with Jennifer can't act. I'm tired of hearing negative feed back on her acting abilities. She's wonderful and don't you forget it. I love her, she's great and I'm not the only one who thinks so. She has a large fan base. We love you JC. Jennifer if you read these threads, remember this, you're great as an actor, and also beautiful to look at. I can see why Michael married you. It's too bad Lundy got killed off. I would have love to seen a little more of Keith Carradine. I think it would have been a saucy scene, with you and him. He's delicious, yum, yum. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

lolz...Im sure Mrs Hall reads this threads all the time :) I cant really say much about her acting abilities - it's all about the writing. The main females in the show are just harrowing poor Dexter at the moment. Do you find this valuable? |

The mark of a great actor is that you see the character and not the actor.In the first three seasons, Deb was a foil to Dex and provided comic relief as well as an emotional mountain to Dex's suppressed molehill.... I must say that she was my 2nd least favorite character (after Rita) but I was neutral to her acting chops. The parking lot scene has changed my opinion of her skills as a thespian (and her marriage to MCH ..... she is just too boney for my tastes). MCH got rid of Deb's romantic involvements in the show so we can expect her to be "confiding" in Dex a whole lot more this season. Hopefully she will get some scenes to act in and not just to be in. Do you find this valuable? |
