"You certainly won't get ME worked up talking about anything related to religion or beliefs. I like to think of myself as pretty open minded and respectful of everybody else's points of view. This is the Internet after all.
I understand your fear, though. Discussions about this can get pretty nasty at times, even though, like I said from my day one here, the mood seems to be calm and friendly all the time on this wiki. I still don't see a lot of work for the mods.

And quantum physics, huh? Wow... That's, huh... deep stuff and TOTALLY beyond me. It reminds me of this weeks' "Flash Forward" episode, though, where the criminal mastermind behind it all (apparently) has a PhD on the subject and picked up a hot chick on a train by gloating about that. The character is played by the same actor who played the nice guy Charlie on "Lost" and I totally can't picture it well enough... I don't know...
Oh, and the "hot chick" I mentioned was played by the same actress who played Daphne on "True Blood". I enjoy all those shows. LOL"
I know! I was cracking up about "Charlie" being the hot guy, too! I just hope that Flash Forward doesn't get as out there as Lost, but it looks like it may go in that direction! Every time a new season of Lost comes on, I have totally forgotten what happened in the last season! I think they film too little of series anymore, and put too much time in between the seasons. Love, love, love True Blood, you know that!
Don't get me wrong, a lot of Quantum theory is beyond me too, but I really enjoy learning about it! There is a physicist named Michio Kaku who explains it in more understandable terms. Now the math part of it....FORGET IT!!! I am very deep in my thinking, though, and really enjoy exploring new scientific theories. I think I would have made a good "Mr. Spock" from Star Trek....continued, damn space probs!

I also hope NOTHING gets as much out there as "Lost". I don't wish that for any fan of any show. I got almost completely and literally lost (pun intended) on the plot sometime around season 3, but I decided to stick with it because, well, it is the biggest show on american tv. There is way too much time and space travel over there these days for me. I'm thinking the writers must be real intellectual wizes if they can keep up and write THAT.
As for the new seasons and remembering the previous ones, they usually make a quick recap of a few minutes which I always download and watch, as a "plot recap pill".

I also see you have a "Quantum Physics For Everyone" sort of book, maybe. It's a very prolific thing to exercise the intellect, which reminds me I need more of physical exercise myself... But that is another question.

And as for you being a childish person... Funny, you don't strike me as one at all.
Much less the short attention span. If you had, you wouldn't be able to enjoy Dexter, that's for sure. ;)

I got Lost on Lost, too! I think I didn't watch the whole 3rd season & then came back & not much had changed, so I started watching it again. I started watching Heroes & got completely lost.
Let's not talk about physical exercise, okay? lol I'm sure that is what I should be doing right now! SO boring, though!
I'm sure that Jeff & Mike & Tina could tell you that I am very childish at times! My attention span is great when watching Dexter, but if I'm not completely and totally into something, then my mind tends to wander a lot. It has to basically drag me in and keep me there or I tend to get bored with it. Oh, well....
I'd better get going, I have so much stuff to do (that I don't really want to do) but HAVE to, and my dog is staring at me to feed her.
Have a good one & talk to you soon. : )

"Paganism was in fact the first religion. It got the boot when Christianity came in & decided that paganists worshipped the devil! lol Whatever! I won't go into religious beliefs because people seem to get so upset over things anymore. I have so many different beliefs it isn't even funny! I am very open minded to different theories, and like to study Quantum Physics, so I think there is a lot more out there that we don't know about....yet! Everybody has their way of communicating with "The Dead".
So glad that you had fun! Fun is very important, and this wiki is fun!
The time changed last night so we are an hour behind now. It's 11:30am here.
Yeah, we are lucky it's Dexter night! 6 1/2 hours to go! Again, sorry you have to wait until Tuesday! : ("
In some areas it is also known as all Clowns Day. Where we worship Clowns and take one into our home, feed them, and let them stay the night.

I believe it started in a small toen in Northern California. I think it is Albanian for Petaluma....

I am SO frustrated with this wiki right now that I could scream! I want to post, but every single thread that I've gone on (even the ones not specifically about her) are either bitching about Rita, or sticking up for Rita. Does anybody remember Dexter?
Does anybody else feel the same? (sorry in advance Mike!)

" SO frustrated with this wiki right"
YES, H-E-L-L-Y-E-S I Do TOO.
If it is not this then it is re: MJ. It is not about Dexter at all.
Now to even make it the usual. We have our favorite person out ther calling names Again...Yes Again...and I can not respond to that cuz we all know where that will end up.
The latest is well let me preface this by saying I am a basically good person I have a wry sense of humor that can border on the sarcastic. But none the less I am a good person I care about people I was an RN for over 30 years and my people skills are based along that line. I came from the old school where we learned to talk to people first not talk At People.
So we have a person that is giving us trouble, and they admitt that they are not part of the 'group'. ( There is only one group, that group is here for Dexter) there are others not here for Dexter and bla bla bla about themselves'. To my knowlege there is no one set of people that are here as a 'Group'. But the people that are not here to support the Dexter's wiki disrupt things with non-related posts. Now the people targeted as the group, have been called names etc, are have been asked to supposed / pray for an ill relative. I will do this and I will be very respectful of this person relative even though they have done nothing but give me a ton of grief. I do not presume they would reciprocate. But anyway I am not a hipocrite, and I do feel sorrow for the familty and the person that has just had a stroke. That is a horrible thing to have happen I have taken care of a number of these people and thier family and I know how it affects them. So my heart truely does go out to them even though they have JUST slamed me recently and in the past has done a lot of complaining to the moduators about me and has not been very nice to me at all EVER.
I do care for the stroke victim and I wish all to pray for them as well.

I AM HERE, Jeff!

You can't expect me to post during nighttime and work time over here in my country! You have to remember my time frame is somewhere between 5 hours and 8 hours less than in the USA! I'm on Greenwich time!

And I still haven't watched this week's episode, because once again I had trouble downloading one of the three winrar files I tried to get from Hotfile. I'm trying it again tonight (it's 10:17p.m. here) and maybe I'll be able to FINALLY watch tomorrow evening!!!! AAAARRGGGHH!! This is such a painful wait!

This is also why I have to mostly avoid the other threads in order not to be spoiled.
Maybe I won't lose anything if I in fact stick to the Rita hate threads because they do get redundant. They can complain at me all they want for pointing out repeated threads (and even specific posts) about this. I don't care. I am the police! LOL

And Jeff, somebody should maybe make you a moderator... I can see revenge ensuing... Anyway, you are definitely one of the biggest contributors here, along with a few others and I think you would fit the role for me.

Oh, and who's Paul? Sorry, I don't really know yet... Still somewhat a noob around here...

Hey Losa. Paul is out friend from Australia aka Crocdundee. He has problems getting to watch Dexter, too, also different time zones.

OK I understand. I knew the time frame was was it is.... But I had not seen you here for a number of days. So I thought that they had sent a hit man to get you to stop being such a stickler for the repeat posts. lol
I did not realize you were avoiding so you will not get more info than you wanted.

Paul is the one called CrocDundee, He is a very nice guy and you will get along with him very well. But he Like you live out of the USA ( Australia ) and he does not get the series easily and on time, so he is a few days behind as well. But we have not seen him for many weeks. When he shows up we will introduce you and I am sure you guys will be good friends.

This thread has fallen to page 6 on the wiki!!!
HAVE WE NO SHAME OF OURSELVES???!!!
;)

Srsly, guys, where is everybody?!
I'm having huge problems watching the latest episodes in due time and coming here because I've almost totally lacked an internet connection at all for the past two weeks, except at work. I don't do fancy downloads or go to wikis there. It's not that I lack the will to do it, though...

Basically, I've been watching the episodes only on Saturdays, meaning everybody else here has watched each one 6 days before I do, and I avoid the wiki even when I can log in, in order to avoid being spoiled. And there's no use to discuss the new material anymore, basically...

I expect to be back in full swing sometime next week, though, so you'll have to put up with my overlong posts again. Looking forward to it!

I hope everybody is doing fine in the meantime. I really do.
