"They do seem touchy feely, but it can be like school girls, even though they are much older than that. (But inside we are all just kids trying to be 'grown up' so we can accomodate what this world requires of us. Who doesn't have fun at Disney? Then when we get back to the 'real world' we put our serious face back on. That's just my opinion.)
It would be interesting seeing them together, though a bit awkward because in law enforcement homosexuality does not seem to be too accepted, so I don't think they will be open about it. And if they do go that way in the show, I hope they show some good scenes.
