"92 degrees is way too hot. I like it cooler. I would love to live in Wyoming or Colorado. I am stuck here for the time being, 9but I maybe moving more sooner than later if things here change like it looks like it may)

Micro brews here are into making strange brews, like I mentioned the Mint and the coffee, and an apricot was just spotted today.
Of course the ales. I used to like a lot of them, but any more I am off the ale, I seemed to lost my taste for ale.

Give me a rum in da Coconut and shake it all around... Just put da rum in da coconut and shake it ......"
Lets get some of Croc's moonshine and put it in da coconut and shake it all about.....we'd probably fall off da boat into da water....

"there are a lot of good micro brewers down here and they make some pretty potent stuff.i had one bottle called moonsine and it was 12%.it was like syrup and i could only stomach a few sips.
talking about drinks,i was in grenada i think it was or one of the carribbean islands years back on a rum plantation(?) they had this stuff that was 1005 proof.i had the smallest sip but one of the american guys threw it back and had a 10 minute coughing fit.

its 92deg here and i am looking forward to a bottle of Sol that i have in the fridge when i get in !!"

"I remember my Dad saying something about having some alcohol that was 105 proof, and used to give it to people as a joke. (now you see where I get my sense of humor!) They would have the same coughing jags. It's 36 degrees here, I could probably use some to keep me warm. "
You can heat up the rum or bourbon and add a couple of cloves to it and it is called a hot toddy. I had a few while on vay kay in Ireland.. We would heat the liquid in a sauce pan with a lid and then it is important that you pour it into a thick drinking glass, not thin glass, you want it not boiled but hot! Not just warm. Slipper socks, a hot toddy, a throw and dexter on the screen. Ahhh the good life! lol

Or sick people. I agree. A little of Croc's moonshine would be welcome. We would all be belly bumpin in the chocolate puddin, or sliding off da boat.

Maxine and the CK triplets can have the Hot Totties, and the Near Beer. I am sure thay know about the Boones Farm Apple Hill or what ever it was called back in the 60's.

I want my friends and what they are having. That will be fine by me. They are the best group of people I have met in so very long a time......

I was in preschool and elem school during the 60's. Why is it you know what people drank then? You don't seem to be a period person. I do know what it was like being a kid during Vietnam war. But, I didn't start drinking until the 80's and that was kir royal and wine spritzers and Dom P. I doubt Elans in Houston served what you are speaking of. I grew up during the oil hayday in Houston. Limos, Neimans, and trips to the islands. Do you get it now?

Yep-Houston. That explains a WHOLE lot. As I now reside in Texas, I can say that in all honesty.
