JayC16	Some of the Best lines from 'Go Your Own Way'. Dec 2 2008, 10:23 PM EST One of the best things I love about Dexter (the show) is the great sarcastic lines. Really really great stuff. One of the best from last night was on the roof, when Miguel looked like he was attempting to pick a fight with Dexter, took off his jacket and angrily showed Dexter the blood stain. Miguel, tugging on the shirt and showing the faded blood stain: "You think this is funny?" Dexter, commenting on th dry cleaning job; "Not at all. They said that stain would come OUT!" To which Miguel shouted: F*** You!" Of course, it was Dexter's delivery that made those 2 lines so great. These were two and a half of the best minutes on television, by far. Great exchange from start to finish. Lots of intensity and lots of determination from both sides. And in the end, this exchange freed Dexter to kill Miguel. After Miguel confirmed to Dex that he will do whatever he wanted to do, Dexter turned to walk away and said "thank you'. Now his fate is sealed. Post reply 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Dec 2 2008, 10:31 PM EST It would (or would not) have been great if, after turning away from Miguel on the roof and heading towards the stairs, if Dexter had turned back to Miguel and told him: "Oh, and about the wedding, ...." Mother Fuk! Anton, wake up. We gotta go. (pause) (in a low voice:) Fukin' penguins. ... Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. If they tell my boss I'm gonna get a shit load of shit." It's not even what she says as much as the way she says it. Aside from the "...stain would come OUT!" line, I think my favorite was Miguel saying "You got the ring...pfff...
