Jan 6 2009, 5:19 PM EST | Post edited: Jan 6 2009, 5:19 PM EST
I love both the Books of Dexter (Darkly Dreaming Dexter,Dearly Devoted Dexter ,Dexter in the Dark and soon Dexter by Design coming in early 2009) & Series. (I live in Northern Ireland only the frist series has been show yet I've seen 1,2 and three can't wait for four) , anyway I'd like to know what you guys like best 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I like the series because it's more intense, and I prefer Dexter's character in the series. I also am not fond of Jeff Lindsay turning Dexter from a Psychological, to a mythological person in Dexter in the Dark. Do you find this valuable?

I like the series more because of Michael C. Hall and I don't like the direction the books are going in with the stuff with Cody and Astor. Do you find this valuable?

I really enjoy both to be honest. I am currently reading Dexter by Design (which is awesome) and there are elements within it that have shown up in the show. I don't really compare them because in my head i see Micheal C Hall and Julie Benz etc..

I love how the story is going with Cody and Astor, i may be the only one but i really like the Dark Passenger being an entity rather than an urge. It makes it more interesting.
The only problem for me in the book and tv show is Debs because of the differences in the way they look. I really wish that the book Debs was described as having the looks of Jennifer Carpenter rather than having big boobs etc.

Anyway, I see both book and show as equals, I think it would be great to see word for word adaptions of the books as films.

It didn't get rid of the Moloch idea. It still kept it in. It still happened. Get over it, it was a good origin/story for the Dark Passenger that Dexter got swept into. It was handled great. Do you find this valuable?
