I almost turned completely off the show after Dex Lies and Videotape. Such a clumsy episode. Nothing about the lila scenes rang true. No authenticity. Completely out of character dialogue.ick, ick, ick. Lila's going to get axed by Dexter soon, mark my words. I just hope they handle it better than they did the ridiculous sex scene this week. 4 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

I kind of get the feeling that Lila's going to be disposable, too. Difficult to say, though. Yeah, the last episode was off-character--but the point this season seems to be Dex in evolution. Whether he'll keep Lila close because thanks to her, he's peeling off layers--or go ballisitc when she gets too close--guess we'll have to wait and see????I think the clumsier cast addition is Rita's mother. Two-to-one she makes it to the bottom of the bay this year. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Completely out of character dialogue.Yea, it is true. Dexter seems to be changing or evolving too fast... I am not sure if I liked it better when he could not feel as much... because now he is losing control and fast! Lila is really getting on my nerves as she is too much "up in his business" and yet... there is something there, I can't put my finger on it... but something just not right. The sex scene was ridiculous, I do agree :) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Rita was on my last nerve last season as it is, and now that she is actually starting to grow a backbone, thanks to Dex, the meddling mother comes on board! UGH! I would have kicked her butt out and back to wherever she came from... Not sure that Dex will kill either Lila or Rita's mom... since then it would be totally out of his regular line of "cleaning up scum". 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

". Not sure that Dex will kill either Lila or Rita's mom... since then it would be totally out of his regular line of "cleaning up scum"."...hmmm...unless one or the other really IS scum. Now there would be a twist. How many times has Dex been quoted as saying that--give or take a couple of words-- in her own way, Rita is as damaged as he is? Can we blame all of that on her dead ex, or was Mom a little sinister as Rita grew up? And we already know Lila has issues that you can betcha we haven't scratched the surface on yet. This is why I love this show. The characters have so many layers that the plot twist possibilities are really endless. Do you find this valuable? |

seeing doakes on dexters table...i like doakes, but he is a problem for dexter. dexter was a normal child he's just not been able to deal with seeing his mom murdered, it fascinated him. so seeing him have real feelings is a good thing. so the whole lila dexter sex act wasnt ridiculous or out of character it was pretty hot!!! & it was dexters personality coming thru. 2 out of 4 found this valuable. "OMG! After last night's episode... I say definitely Rita... cuz Lila is CRAZY! Whew... what a psycho! "Kinda makes you wonder if Lila will try to harm Rita or the kids since she went to extremes to get Dexter's attention while he was with Rita. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Lila or Rita?? Rita or Lila ?? Lila lILA lila LILA or Rita rITA RITA rita?? No matter how I look at it it is always the same. Rita is the Best (Yeah I think Martha Stewart got a raw deal, I think she is OK). I even liked her last season, i could see she had problems and that Dexter was very good for her even then. Now it is turn about in that Rita is Good for Dexter. I think they were both immature in the dating or relationships area. They both needed room for growth and improvement. Last season Dexter found out it was good to have a special someone. Rita found out that not all men are A. Holes, That some men are good and have good qualities. OK so Dexter is not a poster child for all men. BUT he is growingup. After all he did live a sheltered life with Harry. For good reason though.Rita is great, Lila is well lets just say we are seeing the tip of her iceberg. I think we will see more chared remains showing up. I really am fearful for Rita and the kids. But I think Dexter will come out good. I think he may do somethig to endear himself to Gail. Maybe he will save her from Lila. Who knows. Back to the Questions Lila or Rita. I say: Rita - Good - Very Good !!!!, Lila - Bad - VERY BAD!!! Do you find this valuable? |

I* do like that Dex has kind of found "himself" thru Lila. You see alot of emotion from him, even in the sex scenes. He's not the monotonous robot he once was but he needs to ditch Lila and discover his new "self" with Rita. Rita has grown alot as a person and I think she's ready for him. I think Lila and Rita will come to blows and Rita will accidentally kill Lila and Dex will help her dispose of Lila. That would be so sweet!Go Rita put that skank where she belongs - in the bottom of the ocean. Do you find this valuable? |

..... I think Lila and Rita will come to blows and Rita will accidentally kill Lila and Dex will help her dispose of Lila. That would be so sweet! .....I like this. This would draw Dex and Rita together, It would be a bond, and they would have to never speak of it again. or Rita would understand Dexter more, or ???? Yes this would work..... 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I think the bond between Rita and Dex was already "touched upon" with Rita's ex... although it went off on a tangent and now Lila is in the picture. Lila has always struck me as someone with many, many, many layers where Rita's is starting to create her layers one by one. Rita was too vulnerable last season and now I feel she is too intolerant, she went from one extreme to the other rather quickly... would have liked to see her get there eventually. Anyway, it is obvious that Dexter would never let Rita or the kids be harmed... but at the same time, would he allow Lila to be harmed when he feels obligated to her for "revealing" him to himself?

I think so. Rita is his Soul Mate. Lila is a distraction. Lila will prove to be a bad thing. After all isn't this a prediction. I think in the end Rita will still be there solid as a rock, and Lila will be gone like a flash in the night. Like a flame on a candle, Like a Torch in the rain. She will burn out her welcome. She may be Hot now, but once the embers have cooled she will be burnt out. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

100% agree, Lila is just a speed bump in Dex and Rita'a relationship. Rita started off as a beard for Dexter (to hide his monsterous self) but it has grown into a real connection. **Read that while humming "I want to know what love is......I want you to show me!"** 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
